Original S.W.A.T. footwear has been developed with the latest in computer aided design.  Some boot manufacturers utilize patters based on 40 year old designs.  Original S.W.A.T. offers three distinct families of boot, each different in speciality, yet overlapping in usage.  Choose the type of boot that fits your requirements:

CLASSIC SERIES- A great all-around boot, essentially a "cross-trainer" for law enforcement.  The outsole is designed to adapt to a variety of environments.  The lugs are sufficient in depth and spacing for outdoor use, and are designed to shed mud and debris.  The midsole is constructed of compression molded E.V.A. for strength and durability so shock absorption and support endure for the life of the boot.  This construction will support a 300lb person through a full range of motion.   Available in mens and womens styles, many colors.  (9" classic shown, color:Coyote)

SAFETY-TOE- The safety to outsole is classified as a "shell" mold.  This construction provides the strength required to meet the A.N.S.I. standard for toe protection.  The lasting board/steel shank construction is our standard design.  The outsole rubber compound is carbon rubber for extra durability, oil and slip- resistant, and non-marking.  Tread pattern is designed for maximum surface contact, with sufficient spacing to ensure small stones and debris are shed. AIR S.A.S- For shock absorption and energy return, nothing beats air cushioning.  Some air cushion designs lack rear foot stability.  Our outsole is designed with a wider track to maximize stability, which also contains the maximum quantity of pressurized air, providing more cushioning than any other product available.  The outsole is a "court" style, which is ideal for pavement use and extended hours of standing.  Not recommended for fast use on uneven terrain or where puncture of the air bladder is possible.
